This piece is informed by observational studies of structural balance in natural systems. In traditional metalcraft, open forms are often used to test tension distribution and structural resilience under minimal closure conditions. This ring preserves that principle: The structure remains open. The surface remains manually irregular. The stone remains visually centered.
