This piece did not begin as a jewelry design. It began as a question: What does silence look like when it becomes visible? During the early sketching phase, the designer was studying the idea of suspension—not as weightlessness, but as a moment where something is held between two forces: gravity and resistance, movement and stillness. The leaf-like metal structure was never meant to imitate nature directly. Instead, it was drawn as a trace—something that feels familiar, but cannot be fully placed in memory.

At its center, a vivid green jade teardrop is suspended. It does not sit. It does not rest. It simply hangs—as if time itself has paused just before it falls. There is a deliberate imbalance in the structure. The top form holds tension, while the lower drop carries release. Between them exists a quiet emotional space—the kind that cannot be described, only felt. When worn, the piece does not behave like decoration. It becomes a pause in movement.
