This piece came from a moment in my studio while I was working late at night. I was adjusting a series of jade settings on a metal frame, trying to make the proportions feel “quiet enough.” Not perfect — but quiet. At that time, I noticed something: when the structure becomes too complex, the jade loses its presence. But when the structure is too weak, the stone feels like it is floating without meaning. So I started stripping everything away. Only a simple rectangular frame remained on my desk — a basic geometry I often return to when I am unsure where a design should go. Inside this frame, I placed a small piece of jade. And for the first time, it felt balanced without effort. No extra decoration. No narrative. No reference. Just structure and stillness coexisting. Green Silence is not inspired by nature or symbolism. It is a record of a design decision — the moment I stopped adding, and started allowing.

The Green Silence earrings are an exercise in pure structural reduction. A simple architectural frame houses a single, translucent jade trapezoid. The jade is suspended to allow natural movement, while the polished gold geometry creates a boundary of stillness.
